your blog is great, i read all the comment, but im just asking why? so many employers too doing illegal, actually so many, they made their Helper like a robot, in the contract they break the law.. in my view both versa an employee and employers is must know how to deal too. its not because your a boss must know how to considerate in two tango..

Hi Lisa,

My helper has been with us just over a week. I asked her last night (Saturday) to come back around 10:30 since she needs to get up at 5:30. It’s 11:30 and she is still not back. Please can I have a copy of your house rules….I think I need to set some up!

If you have a daily and /or weekly schedule set up, please share as well.

Thank you so much for your insight and all of the information on hiring domestic help in Hong Kong. I am a long time resident of Hong Kong and I have yet to find the right person for my house. Any chance that you could recommend an agency for hiring an Indonesian helper?
