Are There Limits to Creativity?

The answer is NO.
Here is Victoria being incredibly creative with her food.
Can you guess what it is?

Well, cereal is pretty obvious, but she’s mixing it in Chinese soup.  I’m not sure of the taste because I didn’t try it myself, but apparently for her, it’s OK because she ate it.  At first, she was eating just dry cereal and then when I came home and poured myself some soup, she also wanted soup.  Little did I know that she was going to mix them (like adding milk).
Needless …

Happy Birthday Boncers!

A few photos to share of Bianca.  I remember this amazing trip we took to Bangkok, Thailand a few years ago while she was visiting Hong Kong and it was a girls’ only trip.  Good times.  Miss you much Bianca and a very Happy Birthday to you.
For those who aren’t familiar with the background, read my earlier post on Bianca.
May 28 is her official birthday so I wanted to share these photos in memory of her.  The great thing about this girl is that she could make even a rock …

Poor Victoria!

My daughter ended up getting a serious case of viral eye infection and it has been a week so far - only to have it peak these past few days.  The doctor said that it will be 1-2 weeks before it cools and poor Victoria has been whiny, crying and sticky and virtually blind from one eye.
Poor thing!  Here are a few shots of her condition.  Eye drops 4 times a day.  We’re trying to keep the situation isolated to her left eye and hopefully no infection to the right …

Halloween Cat Costume For Children / Kids

I know, it’s already middle of November and I am way behind (or way ahead) of the Halloween schedule.  My bad.  Call it lack of focus in prepping the photos, call it messed up timing - whatever.  I’ve had lots on my mind of late.
I thought I would share these uber cute halloween cat costume for kids pics with my readers.  Of course, it starts as simply as purchasing the halloween cat costume - for an astonishingly affordable $30 HKD off a street vendor.  All you need is some black …

Children’s Adidas Collectors Footwear

We found these really cute and really amazing looking running shoes from Adidas.  It’s more a collectors item, but you can put them on your childrens’ feet.  They have a host of colours and designs for this year and so we bought one each for our kids.  As always, our children are partial to blue and so, their choices were blue shoes.
Check them out below!  The cost?  Around $250 HKD per pair after discount, but we had some SOGO coupons to burn and you had to burn them in $500 …

Ballet For Children in Hong Kong (Finale)

And so ends the summer ballet season for toddlers.  Vanessa’s first summer program came to a fantastic end last Thursday when the class showed off their dancing skills to their parents and grandparents.   The entire class of 15 girls did a mini tribute to end their season with twirling, swirling and toe-touching feats.  The girls are so cute in their pink tutus (I think the costume is more a gimmick for the parents to take pictures and gawk at how cute their children are than for the sake of dancing) …

Playdates and Rice Crackers

I love having my friend and neighbours over for playdates.  I am especially happy  that this friend and neighbour have kids that are within the same age range and we share similar values and ideas on raising kids.  Thanks Carmen for playing host more often than myself to our playdates!  The great thing is that we met through the internet! LOL - doesn’t sound weird, especially since stay-at-home-moms have a limited network and need outside contact with people in similar situations or else you’ll go crazy.  This is why geobaby …

Are you sad?  Are you feeling down?  Well, most people I show this video to end up cracking a smile or laughing out loud.  It is rather funny and children will be children.  I was originally not going to put this up on my blog, but it is just too funny to ignore.  It is these moments that I try to capture of my children - no matter how silly, how sad, how funny - I capture it all.  I mean, it is digital media afterall and if they get …

It’s always a fun and thoroughly chaotic time hanging out with Dennis’ friends (whom all of little princesses at home).  Most gatherings harness more children than adults and it scares the wait staff that the long table needs more high chairs than adult chairs.  Our server was a good sport at Ruby Tuesdays in Taikoo Shing - he offered to watch Victoria for me and commented that she had lost her shoes and asked the kitchen to slow down the onslaught of …
