Yes, Skin Care 101 right here. This article an outline a basic, simple guide to taking care of your skin. The computer is so common place that its usage and how we’re using it is often an oversight and just part of life. Well, this post kind of brings us back to the computer basics. Almost like driving a car. You drive it mechanically, but there are good drivers and bad drivers and basic guidelines that we should follow when getting behind the wheel. Take this post to serve as gentle reminders about how to better use the computer (for our saftey and our sanity).
You might think that these days all …

I love badminton. I didn’t always love it, but since entering University and playing recreationally and then playing varsity, I’ve developed an obsession. Most recently (well, more like just this past Sunday), my sister and I ventured out to an old favourite place - The Hong Kong Badminton Club.
It’s a recreational, drop-in English speaking badminton club for players of all levels. It’s casual, it’s open-to-the-public and it’s always on the HK side of the island, so it’s completely accessible! Sounds like advertising eh? LOL - well, it almost is. Let …

As the due date of My Moleskine 2.0 Exhibition neared, I was frantically trying to finish last minute touches. To add to my resource constraint, I was running and hosting an APAC conference all last week for 40 some odd team members from around the world. On top of that, there were 2 key items to my vision that I was not able to find - but managed to “pry” one from something in my house last minute.
Let’s do a walk through of my “hack”. The concept is really quite …

I love BBC news. It’s one of my regular news feeds - especially their “magazine” section which talks about random and interesting things. Here’s one find that really jives with me - how “drinking” tea appears to be healthier than just “drinking water”. There is a conception that tea has caffeine, which leads to dehydration - but this is in extreme amounts. This article does a great job of balancing why teas are good for you and clarifies the dehydration phenomenon.
Teas contain both antioxidants (which are known to assist with …

I am apologizing for my recent lull and inactivity. This is because I am hard at work on “Hacking my Moleskine” - which is a personal pet project that I voluntarily signed up for just for fun. It was a local competition and I figured I could spare some time out of my blogging activities to do it - so I did. Truth be told, I didn’t expect to have my submission accepted, but it was and now I’m “stuck” with it. I don’t mind. It’s been fun and completely …

So, there’s this competition going on in Hong Kong. It’s a MY MOLESKINE 2.0 COMPETITION. Basically, you have to hack a moleskine within 4 categories: Creativity & Imagination, Organization & Productivity, Fun & Innovative Hacks and Archive & Memory.
There are rarely any local contests I want to join, but since I am a loyal reader and follower of lifehack.org (who happens to be founded by a Chinese fellow in Hong Kong), me and my crazy fingers went and submitted an application for hacking a moleskine.
This morning, I found this:
Moleskine Asia- …

Having increased 35 pounds in weight from my second pregnancy (while giving birth to a 5 pound 3 ounze baby), I realized that some of the gained weight was because I lost some self-control during my pregnancy. I would tell myself that I would easily lose the weight post-birth because of breastfeeding and splurged on goodies like Mc D’s sundaes, Haagen Daaz ice cream, sour candies, soda or cola and desserts of all kinds. Post birth? Cold turkey the sugar and went back to my original pre-baby weight in about …
