Thought I’d share some FABULOUS photos of “Chinese” Santa with a zillion kids. I love doing home parties because I am an organized control freak and thus I am able to control when, where and how! 2009’s Children’s Christmas party turned out to be pretty fun. We had about 13 kids with their respective parents and 1 very jolly Santa Claus.

My dad used to dress up as Santa Claus every year when we were children and what better role to take than be Santa for his grand kids? When Santa knocked on the door and walked into the house, every kid had stopped what they were doing to GAWK (literally GAWK) at the guys at the door. It was the coolest and funniest thing ever! Plus, over the duration of handing out gifts, we had some kids waiting in the wings for their presents. And then you had kids who were pretty scared of this “stranger” and would dart in to take their gift and run away! A great year, a great Christmas and good, wholesome fun. Will have to do this again next year! Thanks Gong Gong for donning that Santa suit out in the hall and lugging all 13 gifts into the house!
