A great read on doing presentations and powerpoints.  I do A LOT of powerpoints and presentations and some of these pointers are interesting.  I do agree that you should reduce the amount of information on your slides, especially words.  I’ve seen so many presentations in my life and so often they are jam packed with words and pictures mixed with words that it becomes more a novel than a presentation.  I am also not a big fan of presentations with stuff that fly around (in or out or whatever).  My approach is really simple and clean.  Check out this article in BBC that talk about how to approach making presentations.
