Win Moleskines for Life!

So, there’s this competition going on in Hong Kong.  It’s a MY MOLESKINE 2.0 COMPETITION.  Basically, you have to hack a moleskine within 4 categories:  Creativity & Imagination, Organization & Productivity, Fun & Innovative Hacks and Archive & Memory.

There are rarely any local contests I want to join, but since I am a loyal reader and follower of lifehack.org (who happens to be founded by a Chinese fellow in Hong Kong), me and my crazy fingers went and submitted an application for hacking a moleskine.

This morning, I found this:

Moleskine Asia- Congratulations, your entry of My Moleskine 2.0 Competition is selected!!

Dear participants,

In behalf of Moleskine, Working Unit and Stepcase Lifehack, we would like to thank you for your participation to My Moleskine 2.0 Competition.
We also have the great pleasure to announce that your submission have been selected for the My Moleskine 2.0 Exhibition in July.

In addition, you are now getting closer to be a potential winner of the lifetime supply of Moleskine notebook*. Congratulations!

In order to proceed smoothly with the exhibition project here are the steps to be followed:
1. Purchase the Moleskine that you need to complete your hack
2. Send your final work to: <some address>We need to receive the work by June 30th in Hong Kong.
3. Upon reception to your hack, we will send the prize for having been shortlisted: 3 Moleskine notebooks.

Please let us know if you need any further information.

Thanks again for supporting My Moleskine 2.0!

It’s time to get to work, to show the best hack to the world and get the most votes during the exhibition to be the ultimate winner of the competition!

Cool!! I’ve been short-listed.  Which means that the mats (materials for short in WoW) I need for my hack are probably going to cost me more than 3 moleskines combined.  Anyways, that’s besides the point.  The point is that I have a chance at getting a lifetime worth of moleskines! WOOOHOOO!  Well, that’s actually a very far away objective, I think my closer goal would be to just have it displayed at CitySuper for people to see.  So, if you happen to stop into CitySuper (Times Square, Hong Kong) around July - please vote for my work.

My idea is to create a “Girl Power” moleskine.  I know, it’s so cliche and it’s so “girly” or me when I am not really that girly of a person, but I thought it would be cool and fun and generate votes.  The ultimate goal is to have the highest votes, so my target audience are teeny boppers who will be attracted to sparkles and crystals.  Have faith in me.  I’m crapping my pants this morning just racking my brain on where to get mats.  Help?  LOL….wish me luck!

Hi Lisa, had been reading your blog for a few months. Good luck to your moleskine! I think the theme “Girl Power” is great. Show them your power! ^_^ Where is SuperCity? I would love to see your work.
