OK, as interesting as this photo looks, what on earth is it? There are only 3 people that played witness to the development of this “thing”. And when I say development, they weren’t originally in this form.
OK, here goes – THIS IS ACTUALLY tapioca. The chewy bubbles composed of starches and sugars found at the bottom of bubble teas. How did they get into this horrendous form? I don’t know why my sister Tracy does it, but she only eats off the outer most layer of the bubbles and spits out the remains. Pretty gross eh? I thought it’d make for an interesting photo..
