So someone found ME while searching for “Matt Mullenweg” in Hong Kong and forwarded me this information.  It’s a mixer with Matt Mullenweg – LIVE in Hong Kong!  I mean, in the flesh.  OK, so it may not be a big deal to everyone, but for those who blog and those who blog on WordPress, it’s a big deal.  This guy CREATED the platform which supports your blog!  And it’s completely free!  The blog platform I mean, not the event.

And this event cost LESS than the AMCHAM one – although their focus is quite different.  One is at lunch, the other is a mixer (it means getting rah rah drunk – NOT).  So I will consider going to this one too, since I’ve already signed up and paid for the luncheon at AMCHAM, because after that, Matt may think I’m a crazy girl fan stalker whose following him around Hong Kong.  Right.  Crazy asian chick stalker.   OK.

Anyways – enough about describing my finest attributes.  If you’re economical and wanting to meet the infamous Matt, go to this mixer.   Truly, when will you ever get an opportunity like this?  He’s almost one of the silicon valley elites and if you’re never going to Cali, why not have Cali come to you?
