Wow, the founder of WordPress is coming to Hong Kong and speaking at a Luncheon!  WordPress is a free state-of-the-art platform used for blogging.  It’s actually the foundation of my blog as well. 

Currently there are over 13 million registered users world wide and to actually have a chance to meet one of the coolest Silicon Valley stories is a once in a lifetime chance!  He’s a typical dot com profile where he is a college drop out and started this online platform by hashing it out in his mother’s kitchen.  You have to give these guys credits for believing in their ability and product to take that risk, but it’s paid off in more than hundred folds.

I am still mulling over whether to go or not.  The cost is $350 HKD for lunch from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM on a work day.  Maybe I’ll see if I can drag Tracy to join me.  Since we are both WordPress supporters and clients!
