Having used it for about 6+ months, it's been fabulous to me and I love it! But since you've just ordered yours, it should still be covered under warranty, which is good - because you send it back to them until they get it right (although troublesome). It was with my previous model that the fan was on the right-hand side and got quite hot and annoying while using the mouse at the same time. I can tell you that I am VERY happy with this model - VGN-CS16G. The specifications are perfect, it's got enough juice to run Vista (4 GB of RAM), the keyboard is great to use and the size is acceptable. It's not really meant as a travel size laptop, but it is great for home use. Highly recommended and of course, love the pink details. The new CS has the updated replacement part for the fan. In the forums, people say that this fan fixed this problem so it shouldn't be a problem. I have gone through about 4 different VAIOs in the past 5 years and only that one made a sound. This new CS one doesn't make that sound and it's wonderful! It's very quiet and the fan is on the left hand side, so for those of us who are right hand users and need a mouse on the right hand side, it's perfect and doesn't burn your hand!
