I had a whole bucket of dried ginger peels that my mother-in-law saved for me after making the Pork Feet and Ginger Vinegar Stew (or whatever you call that in English) and I didn't know quite how to use it. I ended up boiling it in water, cooling it down and sponging myself with it after my shower. I admit it did make me feel "warm" so I guess there's some truth to all this after all!

I was told to avoid ice cream during my pregnancy (and afterwards) but I just couldn't do it. Being pregnant during the summer meant I was always drinking cold liquids and eating ice cream to cool me down (plus it was one of my cravings!). Can't imagine wearing a wool hat!</description>
