In-home massage therapist (pregnancy massages included!)

I have recently indulged myself (the strained mother of two who gets virtually no free time to herself) to a few two-hour massage sessions.  I found this local lady through geoexpats and although she speaks no English, she is willing to come to my home to provide me all sorts of wonderful massage services.  She can do pregnancy massages, foot massages, lymphatic drainage, and some other sorts of Chinese massage techniques that I have never tried before.  She consistently finds my sore spots and will tell me (in a Chinese medicinal sort of approach) which parts of my body needs attention.

The great thing about her is that she will come to my home.  So I usually get her to come at around 7:30 pm, after the kids have gone down to sleep and I can thoroughly enjoy my 2 hour session.  Her price is not outrageous.  She charges $250/hour for a minimum of 2 hours.  For pregnancy massage, she charges $300/hour, again, for a minimum of 2 hours.  You need to provide your own massage oil (anything will do really, even baby oil), a clean towel and of course, a massage surface (your bed will suffice).

If you’re interested in contracting her services, drop me a line and I’ll pass you her contact details.  I’m afraid she doesn’t speak English, only Cantonese and Mandarin.  She is very on-time and will not intrude on anything else other than her task.  I can usually pass out during one of her sessions and after she leaves, I crawl right into bed and remember nothing.
